The A1 Upper Receiver – the original design black anodized used in the 1960’s to build a high-quality retro looking AR. Start your project with our A1 upper receiver. Comes with the standard features of a Mil-Spec upper receiver and is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum with a black hard coat anodized tough finish. The A1 carry handle is ready for adjustable rear sight included. The upper has a shell deflector and the forward assist body to use the original “Thumb” Assist and will accept any standard dust cover. The C7 style carry handle allows mounting a scope from the era for a retro look. Use with any Mil-Spec lower receiver. Included in the package but is not assembled.
