Description M1205 FANTASTIC DRAGON KNIFE BY RAYMOND BEERS; Beers is probably one of the most desirable knife makers of his era. He worked out of Monkton Maryland. All of his knives are highly sought after by collectors as well as celebrities. This knife is beautifully done with a blade that is about 20 inches from the tip of the Dragon’s ears to the point. Knife is a double edged spear point constructed with 1/8th inch thick 440C stainless steel. It is numbered “013” and has Raymond Beers initials “R B” on the other side. The handle is hand carved by Ron Myers in the shape of an open mouthed dragon head. It has been meticulously painted to show each green scale and every detail you could imagine. Knife is beautifully displayed in a custom made Lucite case 8″ x 20″. Original receipt from 1988 shows a cost of $2,500. Raymond Beers passed away in 2021. He will definitely be missed in the knife collectors world. You have to see this one to truly appreciate it. $ 2,775.
